Counselling is a confidential process, where your counsellor helps you to deal with your psychological or emotional challenges and develop some appropriate interventions/ responses that may be suitable to your needs. We believe that our clients have the desire and the capacity to grow towards fulfilling their true potential, and that they are the experts on their own lives. We will therefore may not provide you advice or offer solutions but will work with you to help you understand yourself more fully and to find your own inner resources.

With greater self-awareness and trust in yourself, we hope that you will be able to make constructive changes in your professional and personal life – leading to a more satisfying and meaningful life, Inshallah (if God wills).

We aims to provide a safe, secure and confidential environment where we work with you through difficulties, and to suggest coping mechanisms. Some individuals find that they feel worse for a short time before they start to feel better – sometimes the process requires a step backward (e.g feeling vulnerable) and two steps forward (acknowledgement, acceptance, content). In these circumstances, it is best to discuss the difficulties, rather than abruptly end counselling, this is in order to have the chance to discuss the decision and to complete the process adequately.
